Visiting our website at www.housingkp.gov.pk would be like a treasure trove where any kind of information relating to Housing Department and Provincial Housing Authority could be found with ease & comfort of your own place without any limitation of time seven days a week. The Housing Department has geared up its efforts, not only to complete the on-going schemes but to explore new avenues for low cost housing and public friendly, welfare oriented project for the establishment of Housing colonies for the shelter less. Measures like work on the boundary wall of Jalozai scheme has been initiated and is in final stage of completion and developments works on primary and secondary rod is in progress. Mulazai Housing Scheme is also in advanced stage of completion and efforts are underway to hand over plots to the allotees soon. The Department has also completed 210 out of 216 flats of different categories at Nasapa on Peshawar Charsadda Road, remaining portion of laying Sewer Line is in progress and will be completed in June 2015. Work on Civil Quarters Flats programme is also in progress, and construction of 02 blocks with the total units of 108 awarded to contractor. Feasibility study for development of educational city at Motorway M-1 Krnl Sher Interchange at an area of 80,000 Kanals is in progress. The feasibility study and designing for Express Way to Model Town Peshawar at cost of 8.40 million is awarded and execution of contract agreement is in progress. The Department has been making all out efforts to bring reforms in line with the slogan to bring change for the betterment of common man, work for welfare of general public & bring transparency in tendering process. In future all tenders could be downloaded from the website of Housing Department, where detailed information regarding tenders shall be available and Contractors would able to download Tender Forms, BOQ etc. The Complaint Cell has also become functional where complaints can be registered, prompt action is taken to rectify and bring improvement in the working of the Department.
